THE POWER OF CONFESSION

The power of confession. Most have no idea of how our own words effect us. Faith is calling things that are not as though they are. Biblical faith takes the word of God and the blessings that are part of the new covenant that's been ratified by the Lord Jesus Christ, death buriel, and resurrection. This is beyond positive thinking. The mind will not move mountains but the spiritual force of faith in the word of GOD will. The act of putting the most powerful words of existence into our hearts and then releasing that power through our mouths can change the physical universe around us - - even override the curse that is running ramped in this fallen world.

"Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. - - Mark 11:23. 

Jesus told this to Peter after he had pointed out to the Lord that the FIG TREE Jesus cursed the day before was withering. Now, we could go into the significance of that FIG TREE and End Time's prophecy but we will do this another time. The focus of today's message is the spiritual principles of confession and believing whatever you say, shall come to pass. 

Lets define the word confession. It is a very important since Jesus is the High Priest of our confession - -  To say the same thing" or "to agree," referring to an open acknowledgment of sin, faith, or truth. 

While the English word confession is from Latin, its theological equivalent in the ancient Greek is ὁμολογία (homologia, noun) or ὁμολογέω (homologeō, verb), which literally means "to say the same thing." 

Romans 10:10 says:  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. When we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior we are essentially receiving the biblical revelation in our heart. Then out of the abundance of our mouth it says the same think. This is not mental agreement. This is a spiritual force that comes out of your born again spirit. As you grow in Christ Jesus you will learn the difference of what comes out of you mind and what simply pops out of your spirit. It's those popping out of your spirit is the "substance of the things hoped for" - - Hebrews 11. That is what has the spiritual force of faith; not theory, or feelings or anything to do our five senses. It comes out of our spirits. The practical application is speaking that spiritual force of faith out of our mouths. The physical universe needs to hear the sound waves of that spiritual force. so, you see it not just mental. Faith is an action.

The physical universe  was spoken into existence by our Heavenly Father through Jesus (the Word of God). Our sound waves are speaking to GOD's Sounds Waves of the physical universe. This is in conjunction to String Theory. To put string theory as simple as we can: String Theory says the universe is made of tiny, vibrating loops of energy. It amazes me that the scientific community which is for the most part Anti-God often stumbles into supporting Biblical revelation.

Receiving what the Bible refers to as a Rhema Word from the Lord. Or, better yet recognizing the Rhema Word with your spirit. Simply defined Rhema is a Greek word that means an individual spoken word, or a direct utterance from the Holy Spirit. This is not theory or with the mind but the spirit. The mind can grab ahold to the Logos (written) Word of GOD and this has a place if for any reason to love the Lord our GOD with all of our hearts, soul, MIND, and might but that will not move the mountains and more often than not it is what produces "faith failures". An act of faith that was thought to be GOD but was not and it produced a failure in what was believed for. If you understand the spiritual force of faith and that is comes from your born again spirit where the Holy Spirit actually abides then you will see good fruit from your faith. 

Is believing what you say shall come to pass it's not an arrogant notion. It's actually a very biblical faith filled action. Understanding believing what we say. Shall come to pass is what God wants us to do. In fact, we cannot please God any other way. It says in Hebrews: But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Almighty God has simply chosen that Faith is what pleases Him. This is why faith is the most important subject of Christianity. 

Believing in our hearts is a good thing but never speaking out what we believe is bad. GOD wants us to believe what we say will come to pass. It is 50% of what Faith is. If we believe we have received a Rhema Word from the Lord and do not speak it out then that Rhema Word will die in our hearts. If we speak out that Rhema Word from the Lord it will not return void. Even if we have emotional or intellectual questions because we spoke that Word out of our spirits and the physical universe heard it. This started a chain reaction. The Physical universe heard the Word of God and it obeys the Word of God. It doesn't know the difference if God the Father said it or Jesus said it or you and I said it. It obeys and so do ministering spirits called angels. 

So you see believing and saying go hand & hand.

In Christ:

In Christ, I am a new creation. All things have passed away behold all things have become new. -- 2 Corinthians 5:7.

In Christ, I am a chosen race, a royal priesthood part of a holy nation I am God's own possession set apart to proclaim his excellence seas called out and delivered from darkness into his marvelous light --1 Peter 29:9.

I am crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the son of God who loved me and gave himself for me --Galatians 2:20.

I am God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which got himself prepared beforehand that I might walk in them. --Ephesians 2 

I am a friend of God and Jesus through the Holy Spirit hears from the father and makes it known to me --John chapter 15 verse 15.

Christ Jesus, I am a son of God through faith --Galatians chapter 3:26.

I have died in my life is hidden in Christ in God --Colossians 3:3.

I am now an individual member of the body of Christ -- 1 Corinthians 12:27.

I am an heir of God and a fellow heir with Christ. I suffer with him in order that I may be glorified with him. --Romans 8:17.

Before I was formed in the womb, God knew me before I was born. God concentrated me. --Jeremiah 1:5.

I put on my new self created after the lightness of God in true righteousness and holiness --Ephesians 4:24.

There is therefore now no condemnation for me because I am in Christ Jesus --Romans 8:1.

My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is within me whom I have from God therefore I am not my own for I was bought with a price and therefore I glorify God in my body. --1 Corinthians 6:19&20 

I was created in God's own image in the image of God he created me. --Genesis  1:27.

Jesus is the vine and I am the branch. I abide in Jesus and he abide in me. I bear much fruit apart from Jesus I can do nothing. --John 15:5.

I was raised up with him and seated with Jesus in heavenly places at the right hand of the father. --Ephesians  2:6.

Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places --Ephesians 1:3. 

I am a citizen of heaven and from it, I await my savior the Lord Jesus Christ. --Philippians 3:20. 

In Christ, my old self was crucified with the Lord Jesus in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing so that I would no longer be enslaved to sin. --Romans 6:6.

For I have been filled in him who is the head of all rule and authority. --Colossians 2:10. 

I am an ambassador for Christ God, appeals through me to others to be reconciled to himself. --2 Corinthians 5:20.

In all things, I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me --Romans 8:37.

I am joining to the Lord and have become one spirit with him. --1 Corinthians 6: 7.

Forgot to not give me a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind with self-control. -- 2 Timothy 1:7.

In Christ, I have boldness and access to it with confidence through my faith in him. --Ephesians 3:12.

I am chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world that I should be holy and blameless before him in love. --Ephesians 1:4. 

In Christ, my God shall supply all my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus, --Philippians 4:19.

I am chosen by God to make known how great among the Gentiles the riches of the glory of his mystery, which is Christ in me the hope of glory --Colossians 1:27 

I am fearfully and wonderfully made and my soul knows it very well. --Psalm 139: 14.

I have been raised with Christ. I seek the things that are above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God I set my mind on the things above, not on the things of the Earth for I have died in my life is hidden with Christ and God --Colossians 3:1 thru 3. 

In Christ, I am not conformed to this world, but I am transformed by the renewal of my mind and I discern what the will of God is what is good acceptable and the perfect will of God. --Romans 12:2.

In Christ as God's chosen one holy and beloved, I put on compassionate heart, kindness, humility, meanness, and patience --Colossians 3:12.

In Christ for my sake, God put on Jesus to be sin who knew no sin so that in him, I might become the righteousness of God --Second 2 Corinthians 5: 21.

In Christ, I love God and all things work together for good because I am called according to his purpose. --Romans 8: 28.

I can do all things through him who strengthens me --Philippians 4:13

I see what kind of love the father has given to me that I should be called a child of God. This is the reason why the world does not know us and cannot fellowship with us because they do not know him I am of God God's child what I will be has not appeared yet, but I know that when he appears I shall be like him because I will see him as he is first --John 3: 1 thru 2.

In him, the fullness of the deity dwells bodily, and I have been filled in him who is the head of all rule and authority. --Colossians 2 :9 & 10.

I am rooted and built up in him and established in faith just as I have been taught therefore I abound in Thanksgiving. --Colossians 2 :7

I see what kind of love the father has given to me that I should be called a child of God. -- 1 John 3:1.

In Christ, I have been predestined for adoption as son through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will.

I welcome others as Christ has welcomed to me for the glory of God. --Romans 15:7.

I am no longer a slave, but I am a son and because I'm a son. I'm a heir through God. --Galatians  4:7.

I confidently drawn near to the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace to help in the time of need --Hebrews 4:16.

Since I've been raised with Christ, I seek the things that are above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God and I set my mind of the things above, not on the things that are on earth for I have died and my life is hidden with Christ and when Christ, who appears my life will appear then I will also appear with him in glory. --Colossians 3:1-4.

In Christ, I am the light of the world a city sit on a hill cannot be hidden --Matthew 5:4.

In Christ, I've been brought near by the blood of Jesus --Ephesians chapter 2:13.

By grace, I have been saying through faith and that of myself it is a gift of God. --Ephesians 2:8.

But thanks me to God, who in Christ always leads me to triumph, full procession, and through me, spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. --2 Corinthians 22:14.

Who is understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him I have the mind of Christ. --1 Corinthians 2:16.

In him, I have obtained an inheritance having been predestined, according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the council of his will. --Ephesians .

Add one time I was in darkness, but now I am light in the Lord and I walk as a child of the light --Ephesians 5 :8

Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for me. It is written cursed as everyone who hangs on a tree. 

--Galatians chapter 3:13.

For God, so loved me that he gave his only son that I may believe in him and that I should not perish, but have eternal life. --John 3:16.

Because of Jesus, his death, Brown and resurrection, I am in Christ who has become wisdom to me from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption. --1 Corinthians 1:30.

I am lead by the Holy Spirit of God and I am a son of God. I did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but I have received the spirit of adoption, a son by whom I cry ABBA father. --Romans 8:14 and 15.

Since I have been justified by faith, I have peace with God through my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. --Romans 5:1.

Because of one man's transgression the first atom, death reigned through him but hallelujah much more with those who receive the abundance of grace in the free gift of righteousness rain in life through the one man the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, I rain in life through Jesus Christ. --Romans 5:17.

In Christ, I'm no longer a stranger or an alien, but a fellow citizen with the saints and the members of the household of God. --Ephesians 2:19.

For the law of the spirit of life has set me free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. --Romans 8 2.

My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is within me, my born spirit whom I have from God therefore I am not my own. --1 Corinthians 6:19.

I am saved and called to a holy calling, not because of my own works, but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave to me in Christ Jesus before the ages began..... I am saved and called to a holy calling, not because of my own works, but because of the father's own purpose and grace, which he gave to me in Christ Jesus before the ages began. --1 Timothy 1:9.

But God, the father being rich in mercy because of the great love with which he loved me even when I was dead in my trespasses made me alive together with Christ by grace. I have been saved. --Ephesians 2:4 & 5.

The Holy Spirit himself bear's witness with my spirit that I am a child of God. --Romans 8:16..

I am sanctified in Christ called to be a saint together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and my Lord. --1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse two.

I know I'm God's temple and that God's spirit dwells in me. --1 Corinthians 3:16.

I put off my old self, which belongs to my former manner of life, and is corrupt through deceitful desires to be renewed in the spirit of my mind, and to put on the new self created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. --Ephesians 4:22 through 24.

In him, I also am being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Holy Spirit. --Ephesians 2:22.

I have been born again, not of a perishable seed, but it imperishable through the living and abiding of the word of God. --1 Peter 1:23

I am to be the praise of his glory from the moment I first hoped in Christ. --Ephesians 1:12.

I have been baptized in Christ and I put on Christ. There's neither June or Greek there is neither slave or free. There is neither male or female for all our one in Christ Jesus. --Ephesians 3:27 and 28.

I am part of the body of many members and all members of the body, though many are one body so that with Christ one spirit, we were all baptized into one body, Jew or Greek slave or free and all are made to drink of one spirit I drink the Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus. --1 Corinthians 12:12 & 13.

I am steadfast and movable, always abounding in the work of the Lord knowing that in the Lord, my labor is not in vain. --1 Corinthians 15:58.

Christ dwells in my heart through faith. Therefore, I am being rooted and grounded in love. --Ephesians 3:17.

In Christ, nothing is impossible with God. --Luke 1:37.

I am kind to others Tinder hearted for forgiving others as God in Christ forgive me. --Ephesians 4:32 

I have been given the ministry of reconciliation for God in Christ. God is reconciled the world to himself, not counting our trespasses against us and trusting us with the message of reconciliation. I'm in trusted with the message of reconciliation, which is the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. --2 Corinthians 5:8 and 19.

God knows the plans that he has for me plans for welfare and not evil to give me a future and a hope a joyful confident expectation of a coming good. Hallelujah! -- Jeremiah 29:11
